"Second Chance House" - Overview

Our Mission: To give a second chance to unwed and/or needy pregnant women and their child through the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Purpose: To provide a Christ-centered maternity home, where women with unplanned or unwanted pregnancies can receive housing, education, medical care, counseling, and a place for parenting or placing their babies for adoption. Equally important, we seek to sustain a safe place for the support of mother and child.

Our Vision:

  1. To offer hope by indicating that God loves unconditionally and has a good purpose and plan for the pregnant woman and her unborn child, while endeavoring to improve the quality of their lives;
  2. To establish and operate a residential maternity home and emergency resource center for pregnant women in need of immediate intervention;
  3. To consider each woman’s individual circumstances and development and to provide constructive planning for her and her child;
  4. To provide alternatives to abortion with adoption options; and
  5. To offer services regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or economic status.
